Learn Bowen Therapy at your own pace with knowledgable Tutors in a relaxed and supportive environment
New Dates and Venues will be Added in the Coming Weeks!
Our Bowen courses are held across the UK throughout the year. We have an extensive list of convenient locations. Our Teachers are highly experienced in the field and they are all professional, supportive and passionate about Bowen! The Bowen training modules are extremely practical and ‘hands-on’ with comprehensive and modern training materials. Bowen is a hands-on therapy. It can not be taught effectively online. To treat someone safely and correctly, a great deal of time is spent teaching the required pressure, location and hand positions for each move.
You can attend each module with the same or different Teacher(s) at any listed venue throughout the UK. It takes a minimum of nine months to complete the core Bowen training, but the course can be completed at a slower pace, if required. It is possible to spread the training and have longer periods between modules to enable you to get sufficient practice. Pay for each Module as you go, or pay in full in advance - it's up to you! There is no rush to complete your Bowen training, it is a wonderful course – enjoy the journey!

Our courses are all highly practical and very ‘hands- on’. Class sizes are deliberately kept small to ensure you receive a high level of teacher supervision whilst you practise the moves with your fellow students. By the end of Module One, you have the skills to perform a complete Bowen session. Our course materials and resources are excellent and have been revised and updated for 2024.
Taking effective client notes is an important part of a Bowen session. To establish a good level of understanding and proficiency you need to record your case histories. Before Module Three, you choose ten of these, where each client has received three Bowen sessions from you, to submit to your Tutor. You work on these in the time between Module One and Module Three.

Module 5 brings several tutor groups together. It is run by Colin Murray and Jo Wortley, and may be assisted by additional Tutors.
This is the Module where everything 'falls into place'.
The first two days are spent re-visiting all the moves and procedures that you have learned, and with your experience so far, you will deepen your knowledge and understanding of the Bowen Technique. Day 3 includes your final written and practical assessments. You will have also recieved marks for your final set of case studies, which will have been submitted at least 4 weeks beforehand. Module 5 often merges with at least one other group of students, and may take place in a different location to your previous modules. A level of competence is required before attending Module 5. To achieve this, you will have passed practical assessments at Modules 2, 3 and 4 and passed your first set of case studies at Module 3.
On the final day of Module 5 you will receive your Certificate of Attendance. Your Practitioner Qualification is dependent on attending all five modules and passing three elements: your practical assessment, your case studies and your written assessment. Written assessments will be taken away and marked by the Tutors, who will endevour to feedback your results within two weeks. Once all three elements have been passed and you have completed your AP&P, your Practitioner Certificate will arrive in the post.
